Leader, Analytics First
Amit Garg joined CustomersFirst Now (CFN) as a Data Scientist in our Bangalore, India office in 2015. He became leader of our Analytics First operations in February 2016.
Prior to CFN, Amit was Manager in the Analytics vertical at Cognizant Technology Solutions. During this tenure, Amit was mainly responsible for understanding client needs and driving business analytics and predictive analytics solutions while leveraging Advanced Analytical tools and technologies.
Prior to Cognizant, Amit was a part of Accenture and involved into various projects spanning across multiple domains e.g. Telecom, Insurance and executing strategic proof of concepts to demonstrate analytical offerings. Being at Accenture, he was focused on managing internal and external stakeholders expectations, understanding business requirements, and responsible for end-to-end requirement management and development.
Amit has also worked for Computer Sciences Corporation and HCL Technologies with a focus on business and systems analysis and complete delivery and stakeholder management.
Amit has good hands on experience in creating analytical models using regression, decision trees, clustering and mining customers data & performing sentiment analysis using advanced text mining techniques. Amit has extensively worked with tools like R, SPSS, SAS Enterprise Miner, Tableau, Microsoft excel Solver, KNIME etc.
Amit was a designated trainer for taking data science sessions at the Accenture Digital Center of excellence.
Amit holds a Bachelors of Engineering Degree from The University of Rajasthan, India. A post Graduate in Insurance and Risk Management from Birla Institute of Management Technology and Business Analytics and Intelligence program certified from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.
